I bought the crucarta Manix2 instead because that has a stronger blade tip & lock up.

Just ordered the skinny and the same green color as you have. Just contacted lion steel to see if they offer a clip screw with the glass breaker for the skinny.

Well designed knife, sheath and firesteel for that price seems like a steal.

basicly they have same steel material and same lock system. I am using Fällkniven gentleman's pocket knife and The James Brand pike for edc. they are small and does they job. for the city use I think rl1 better choise. I don't have a big hand I would prefer rl1 because its just smaller then phantom. very compact. and probably when you take out from your pocket its not gonna scare anyone. plus its cheaper then phantom.

Nonsensical Overengineering at it's finest!! I LOVE my S1X but thoroughly DESPISE the sheath!! Survival knives should be more than just bushcraft survival, but also self defense survival. Good luck pulling this knife out of the sheath in time to stop/counter any kind of attack from human or beast! I use my knife in the wilderness ( not sure about everyone else) where wild animals like mountain lions, wolves, coyotes etc. roam frequently. This sheath is anti quick draw and would only be appropriate for a kitchen knife or a whittling knife! I'm sure if I practiced for hours on end I could draw the knife out a little faster but nowhere near as fast as a NORMAL nylon, leather or kydex sheath. Engineers LOVE to ruin perfection!!
